I have a cool bathtub

My bathtub rocks! It is made of iron and looks like taken directly out from a horror movie.

In other news, my salad was a huge success:
Baby Spinach mixed with all sorts of green salady stuff
Cucumber chopped in semi-circles
Baby tomatoes
Mandarin oranges
crumbled goat cheese
ever so slight Paprika ;)

Salad dressing:
Extra virgin olive oil (50%)
White vinaigrette (50%)
Extra salt
Black pepper (not crushed)

Partying like a rock star

This is old news, but what the heck... I partied with the rock stars, again! This time it was Jason Collett of the Broken Social Scene and the band he tours with called Paso Mino. Beer and tequila shots came alive! Jason Collett is amazing in live performances. The last show I saw of his, he primarily focused on songs from 'Idols of Exile' (which is an amazing album by the way). This time he treated the good fans at Cafe du Nord with at least 5 new songs and all the classics from his previous two releases.

I was impressed by one of the opening acts by Rykarda Parasol. The songs had this interesting gothic touch to them. The songs on the CD don't sound as heavy as they did live, which is actually a good thing. They sound much much better on the CD.

So, scientists have successfully materialized light/energy! It's teleportation baby. *God* bless star trek for the amazing teleportation scenes and quotes.

In other news, my birthday turned from "it's going to be the lamest birthday ever" to "pretty cool". Thanks Ro ! You are awesomatic coolnesstest (yeh, I have been expanding my vocabulary for the GRE) :)

The highlights included:

• Working from 9am - 6pm
• Getting wet in the rain
• Checking out CDs
• Eating
  
• Watching a movie (sorta)
• checking out cool gadgets including my dream video camera
• Desert !!
• Lighting a candle on a lil cake, and Rowena singing Happy Birthday in an almost deserted mall
• Going to a cafe
  
• Dancing
• Hockey ! (airhockey)
• lotsa arcade games - from car racing to killing some terrorists
• Boxing !! (woah quite a workout that turned out to be)
• Going to a bar
• Leaving the bar and re-entering the bar
• Drinking Verona !
• Getting back home to find garage flooded with water
• Got an invitation to a party at 11:30pm from the next door neighbour
