The art of eating chex mix

So lets see... Chex, pretzels, peanuts, raisins, and mini m&ms eh

First of all, the key is to try to avoid the chex-mix in the first place. The reason being that once you start munching on those darn bits, you can never stop. But, as hard as you try, it is inevitable, I say. Inevitable!!! The bowl will just stand there looking at you like a siren singing you to shipwreck. This whole waiting and staring game is actually quite good for you in some sense. It builds up the appetite. So, what I would do is... I would finally give in and decide to take a lil bit. If I am taking only a little bit, might as well go for the gold.... mini m&ms.

As I gobble more and more of those orgasmic m&ms, I realize that they are almost over. I save 5 of them! Now my mouth is extremely sugary. I need a break. I dive in for some peanuts and Chex. Note that it is not my intention to eat peanuts and chex at this moment, but I need to since I need to relieve my mouth of the sugar overdose. After munching on a whole lot of chex and peanuts, I introduce some raisins here and there. This leads to munching of some peanut-raisin sandwiches. (you split the peanut and put a raisin in between... it goes better with cashews, but peanuts would do as well)

Soon... all peanuts and chex and raisin fade away. I feel content and I feel sick to a certain degree. I take my break. I take a sip of whatever I am drinking. I finish it off by the 5 mini m&ms that i had saved for the perfect ending. Content !

So that is how a chex-mix is eaten in my world.

Note that I have complete ignored the pretzels... and ignored they shall stay

i before e

Random coffeehouse incident number one.

A paper ball lands on the couch next to mine. I reluctantly flatten out the crumbled lump of paper. It reads:

i before e
except after c
but what about:
weird?
feist?
science?
society?

Hail to the computer

People ask this lame question sometimes, "What is your most favourite band?" or "What is your most favourite album/song/movie?"

There is NEVER, and I mean NEVER, a single answer to that question. At least, not for me. For the longest I can remember, I would always respond, "Well it depends... " "There is no single... " "It is hard to pick ..."

I seem to have realized a unique answer to at least one of these questions.

"OK Computer" by Radiohead is the best album ever.

Enough said.

the perfect music video

So what does it take to make an award winning music video?
1) Big budget. I mean BIG !
2) Have a superstar model/actress in it, preferably with huge boobs
3) Do something that you think will make you look cool, preferably using computer graphics

Having accomplished all the above mentioned, rap start Kanye West was kinda disappointed that he did not win the best music video award at MTV Europe awards. I quote, "it cost a million dollars, Pamela Anderson was in it. I was jumping across canyons... If I don't win, the awards show loses credibility." His disappointment was clearly visible when he crashed the stage when the award in question was being presented to Justice and Simian.

God bless the popular music industry!
